Ramel Westry is an American film and television director and producer from Harlem, New York. With a background in the arts and early childhood education, his work is rooted in emotional honesty, character-driven storytelling, and lived experience. After beginning his career as an art teacher, Ramel transitioned into the film industry, working closely with directors Joe and Anthony Russo at AGBO on major studio projects. He has since written, directed, and produced multiple short films, including Wrong Crowd, Life of the Party, and 305 Fishkill Avenue. Ramel continues to build a body of work that centers humanity, memory, and connection through a cinematic lens.
